i. OPERATING SIGNAL SYSTEM:

Dhaka City must run by proper signal system. A modern traffic signal system will help to Restore the DISCIPLINE and RESPECT of Traffic Rules and Regulations. 

All the roads must have markings and proper Sign to guide the mobility.

ii. COLLECTION of TRAFFIC DATA:

The traffic volume of Dhaka City is above the saturation level and it has numerous challenges to establish appropriate traffic signal system. 24 types of users, various speed and indiscipline attributes are affecting Significantly to the traffic system.

Continuous Traffic Data collection of all intersections will help to understand the characteristic of Dhaka Traffic.

iii. SIGNAL TIMING OPTIMIZATION and PERFORMANCE EVALUATION:

Signal timing optimization and performance evaluation are vital for managing Dhaka's traffic effectively. Proper signal timing reduces congestion by minimizing delays and improving vehicle flow at intersections. Performance evaluation ensures that traffic signals are functioning efficiently, allowing adjustments based on traffic data collected by CITMS. Together, these measures enhance overall road safety and reduce travel time, contributing to a more organized traffic system in the city.

iv. VIOLATION DETECTION:

Traffic violations in Dhaka are a significant contributor to congestion and road safety issues. Common violations include reckless driving, running red lights, unauthorized parking, and illegal lane changes. A lack of proper enforcement, coupled with driver indiscipline and overcrowded roads, exacerbates the problem. Additionally, the absence of modern surveillance systems and inconsistent penalties for offenders hinder efforts to maintain discipline. These issues underline the need for stricter regulations and advanced traffic management systems to improve the situation

V. USER BEHAVIORAL ANALYSIS :

Behavioral issues among Dhaka traffic users significantly contribute to road chaos. Common problems include impatience, lack of adherence to traffic rules, overuse of honking, and a tendency to overtake unsafely. Additionally, limited awareness of road safety and disregard for pedestrian rights further exacerbate the situation, highlighting the need for education and stricter enforcement of laws.

VI. TAFFIC ALERT :

Traffic alert services can significantly reduce congestion by providing real-time updates on road conditions, accidents, and alternative routes. These alerts help drivers avoid busy areas, distribute traffic more efficiently, and reduce delays. Additionally, timely information enhances road safety and allows emergency responders to manage incidents more effectively, contributing to smoother traffic flow and better overall management

VII. INTER-AGENCY COORDINATION:

Collaboration between agencies responsible for transportation, law enforcement, urban planning, and public transport can ensure synchronized efforts in infrastructure development, traffic law enforcement, and efficient public transit systems. A unified approach reduces overlapping responsibilities and enhances resource utilization, leading to better traffic management and smoother urban mobility.

Understanding the root causes, such as bottlenecks or poor infrastructure, helps in designing effective interventions. Evaluating the effects, including delays and safety risks, alongside the economic losses from wasted fuel and reduced productivity, provides a clear rationale for investments in infrastructure upgrades and better traffic management

Performance evaluation of each action and individual responsibilities of traffic operators in Dhaka is crucial for effective traffic management. Govt does not require a huge investment and a massive Police Force to improve the TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. Need to FIX some areas with Local Made Technologies and applications
